Although it is hard to tell from the pictures, this guy has the adorable little elf ears typical of the Salish* breed of sheep; however, his fleece definitely takes after his Merino side! Super stylish and lustrous, this guy is a fleece machine! He is next to skin soft and structurally well put together. *Salish sheep are a native breed to the Salish tribe. We do not have any purebred left as they have all been crossed to focus on higher quality wool and improved structure. Purebred Salish have a downier style medium fleece that is typically shorter in staple and are characterized by tiny little elf ears "short ears".
